About this site
This website was created in 2001, when Weyerhaeuser purchased Willamette Industries, so that former employees could stay in contact with each other. Other ways of keeping in touch have come along since then (Facebook, LinkedIn and others), but we wanted to keep this site alive.
Annual get-together
A mailing list is still used to announce the annual get-together of former employees, which is usually held in December.
